Life , Ecstacy, Death

They were smooching each other by lying on the floor ; -

Entwined in close embrace

The infrasonic moans of their love- making-

Didn't disturb anybody!

I put the stone down,

Two small red millipedes making love!

The love which is made in -

Eternal darkness and in silence !

The pure love of two disgusting lovers !

Even the ants didn't disturb them!

Because they showed some sympathy

Towards those blind lovers!

Is it God's injustice that made them blind?

Or were they the accomplices with the First Sinners-

To receive this world of darkness?

Fortunately I didn't find any webcams or voyeurs there-

To peep into the privacy of those blind lovers!

Oh! it is a disgusting love!

But that was the only mercy by the Almighty towards them

Yes , it was the only oasis in their cursed life

Their helplessness to feel the mate through touch and smell;

I left the place with a sympathised mind,

No more atrocities!

I got back after two hours;

By thinking about that sacred love

Alas ! the sight made me stop !

The cruelty of the fate again

Their bodies were crushed into four ,

Thus the one mind- one body became four

Oh ! again a bolt from the blue!

Their one and only happiness lost forever!

The ecstasy that they derived even in the world of darkness!

Who cares about that?

Who should be blamed?

Even those mutilated bodies remain closely embraced each other

By keeping the hope that they can meet in the heaven together.

I got infuriated and looked around.

Then I saw my pet dog having a siesta

By lying at the same spot!

With a cruel satisfaction on his face ,

I couldn't control myself and drove him away.

What might have provoked him to commit this murder?

What might have become his obsession?

The Green- eyed Monster might have provoked him!

Or the forced celibacy which is imposed on him

Might have worked.

Whatever it might be , two drops of tears For those

Great creatures and for their Sacred love!

A Great Deed

Struggling for life-

In the deep water

A Small Great life!

The silent cry and struggle

Which he expressed

Through his gestures

Fell in my ears!

Even though I stood a second

Without starting the rescue

I approached him with a snail's pace

No more cameras, no more channels!

The inactiveness of an eyewitness!

But the SOS message from the sea

Of that halved coconut, shook me!

Suddenly I bent down

And put my finger inside it

Like a rescue rope!

Then I just pulled my hand outside

And let him go!

He went away without biding farewell;

He went away without conveying thanks to me;

May be because of his inability to speak

I won't get any gallantry awards for this heroic deed

I won't get any civic receptions-

Because I saved not a human, but an Ant!

Yes, a small creature and his Great Life

But I felt a satisfaction in performing my duty

Which was assigned by the Almighty!
