Geckos

We are Geckos!

The smallest in your eyes;

But were the biggest-

In the olden ages.

We walk through the walls,

By covering all angles-

Low, high and top.

We witness all your actions-

Day and night continuously-

Under your bed, in the bathroom,on the roof!

Yes, we follow you everywhere like voyeurs!

Our world is an upside down world-

Like a bat.

We have no sophistry;

So we mate everywhere, every time-

On your table ,under the chair-

By leaving all the moral laws.

We are not afraid of anybody else-

So, we put droppings on your heads with scorn!

We sit on the highest place in your house-

Even above your balcony!

We steal your delicious food-

Like thieves!

We do whatever we like-

No police, no court;

Nobody can punish us!

If you come to catch us-

We try to commit suicide-

By cutting our tails!

Our sounds make you postpone your journeys-

Like an alarm!

You rule the whole world;

But we rule even you too!

You tame even elephant,

But , draw a blank when come to us!

We sit on top of White House!

Yes ,even above the US president!

We fight in public like warriors-

By reminding our glorious past!

How many traps you make-

To destroy us?

But, we will haunt you always!
